- So I'm not sure if I mentioned it before on here, but I am a HUGE sap and it's only gotten worse with age. I've always been sensitive, but I feel like there have been times in past few years when "being sensitive" is an understatement when describing me. I cry all the time, at the drop of a hat and at the most random things. The sappier and sweeter something is, the more I cry. Of course TV shows, movies, some commercials and the like make me cry, but other things that you wouldn't normally think of make me cry, too. The other day my husband and I were on a walk around our neighborhood and saw a little old dog trying very hard to take his walk. At one point the little guy completely fell over and had to be picked up by it's owner and I immediately started tearing up. I also cry when I see sweet-looking old men all alone. It gets me every single time. I'm a mess...
- Like many other people my husband and I watch episodes of TV shows in rapid succession on Netflix. I started watching The West Wing a few weeks back (event though I watched every episode when the show was on the air) and I currently moved on to the last season of the show. Yup...six seasons with 22 episodes each in only a couple of weeks. While I've been watching WW my husband and I have also been watching Lost. OMG. We're almost done and are hooked with all of the twists and turns - the show is CAH-RAZY! Yes, yes, I know what you're thinking - "Welcome to 2005, Christina."
- A few notes on The Grammys -
- I'm not a fan of Taylor Swift and was not a fan of how many times the camera cut to her during the show.
- What's with people like Bonnie Raitt sitting way in the back and people like Katy Perry sitting in the front row?
- Adele and Kelly Clarkson are absolutely adorable!
- Chris Brown - ugh. Enough said.
- Best performance of the night was a toss up for me between the Levon Helm tribute and the Bob Marley tribute. The Black Keys and Mumford were also fab.
- One of my favorite things about working evenings and being "off" during the day? Brunches out with my honey like the one below we had last week...

So agreed on being over Taylor Swift!
ReplyDeleteRight?!?!? I must admit I used to like her and have "Love Story" on my iPod, but I'm over the "dating and breaking up with boys to write about them and make money" thing. That will only be able to last so long! :)
